I believe in the Trinity: God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - Three in One. God, the Father, created the Earth and all that is in it. God so loved the world that Jesus Christ, the Son, was sent to show mankind this Love and how to live it.

Christ suffered and paid for my sins on the Cross, died a human death, and was resurrected -as human and as spirit. He then ascended to the Father. I believe Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary and of the Living God - fully human and fully divine. The Holy Spirit was released that God's love could spread throughout all time and all people. I believe that God, the Holy Spirit, is like a battery that never runs out once it is turned on. It is a gift that lives in me but must be recharged through communion with God in prayer, study, worship, and service to produce the fruits of the spirit.

I believe the Bible and creeds, inspired by God, are gifts to mankind. I believe the church was created to facilitate and perpetuate God's Word and His work of redemption in the world.

I was born into a fallen world with a sinful nature. It is only because of God's love, mercy, and grace that I can be forgiven (7x70) and redeemed. I am to love God with all my heart, soul, and mind - and my neighbor as myself. I believe I must seek the Lord and only by His grace am I found. I believe God wants all to be saved. I believe I am blessed to be blessings to others –through prayer, witness, service, friendship, and finances.

God created only one of me. I am called to serve for the common good in this place and time, according to the gifts given to me by the Spirit. Each person is unique with different gifts, so I believe we are given unique ways of understanding, worshiping, and serving our Creator and Lord. God, alone, is Judge and His ways are not our ways.

I believe in miracles: God's power, majesty, and love are revealed in many ways. I believe that all things work for good to those who love God. He wants me to glorify and enjoy Him forever and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge.

I believe in Heaven where I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever -sharing eternity with loved ones and the Saints who have gone before me. "Hell" is separation from God in this life and beyond.

I believe I am to be patient in adversity, grateful in the midst of blessing, and trust my faithful God and Father for the future because nothing can separate me from the love of God found in Christ Jesus.

Thanks be to God!
