At First Pres

We welcome and appreciate the service of our congregation in making First Pres an amazing place of worship. The following volunteer opportunities are available to our members.


CAST (Care, Accept, Share, Teach)
This is a ministry for children and families living permanently in motel rooms and was adopted as a mission of FPC in May 2015.


Disaster Relief
Donate funds for disaster readiness and recovery


DRAT (Disaster Response Action Team)
Prepare our church facility to act as a shelter during disastrous weather or events


Church Office Phones
Answer calls during Sunday worship services (9–11 am) and Tuesday staff meetings (10:30am – noon)


Flower Guild
Provide arrangements of flowers and/or greenery for special church events


Logistics Committee
Prepare for Morningsong service and Wednesdays at First


Sanctuary Guild
Decorate facilities and worship spaces to appropriately reflect the liturgical seasons of the year, as well as special celebrations and events
