Learning God's Word is challenging and rewarding. That's why we gather each week for devotion, study of Scripture, and in-depth discussions.
9:00-9:45 am each Sunday in the Middle School and High School Classrooms
Students are divided into middle (6-8th) and high school (9-12th) groups with their own meeting space. The Middle School class is led by Rev. Ansley Page. The High School class is led by our Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults, Jason Moore.
5:00-7:00 pm each Sunday in the Chapel and Family Life Center
At Real Life, students will explore God’s Word, worship, fellowship, and serve together. Everything we do will be designed to foster an environment where students can be real, and where everyone will feel welcome. It will be a place where lasting relationships can take root, and where students will strengthen their connection to Christ and each other.
Devo and Dessert
Wednesdays at 6:15-7:00 pm
All youth are invited to meet in the Middle School room at 6:15 for a special time of fellowship with dessert. After dessert, Middlers and High School will separate out for a special devotion designed for their respective age groups.
Middle School Lunch
Wednesdays at various lunch times
Each Wednesday Penny or Jason will meet at a different middle school in the area to spend time with students. The upcoming location will be announced each Sunday during Sunday School and in the weekly Round-Up.
Many impactful ministry moments happen outside the walls of the church. Through evening outings and weekend retreats, the Youth Ministry at First Pres helps you infuse faith into your everyday life.
Service is a huge part of our Youth Ministry. In order to be good disciples, we spend time working with various Spartanburg organizations, give our time and resources to international organizations, and serve our church family.
