The College and Young Adult Ministry at First Presbyterian recognizes and celebrates the vital role women and men in their 20s and 30s, single and married, play in the church and the wider community. The ministry’s goal is to connect young adults with the church and its mission and with other young adults through a variety of programs.
These currently include . . .
Free Lunch Sundays
During the spring and fall the church provides a free lunch after the 11:00 a.m. worship service each Sunday for college students and young adults. All in college or in their 20s or 30s are invited to meet in the Large Private Dining Room in the Family Life Center for food and fellowship. The lunch dates appear on the church calendar and they are announced in the Sunday bulletin.
Young Adult Socials
Socials held periodically throughout the year at church members’ homes provide opportunities to meet with peers and deepen relationships with God.
Wednesdays at First
College Students and Young Adults are invited to attend Wednesdays at First and participate in adult electives.
Spartanburg Presbyterian Student Association
College students in Spartanbrug are invited to participate in the Spartanburg Presbyterian Students Association (PSA) for fellowship and ministry throughout the year. PSA is a joint campus ministry of Spartanburg Presbyterian Churches. To learn more, visit www.spartanburgpsa.org.
